The 3-PORT PCI 1394 CARD design supports 1394 hot-swappable Plug & Play, which utilizes the latest in ultra high speed interface technology. It supports throughputs of up to 400 MB/s and up to 63 devices, making it ideal for use with today's high speed Firewire peripherals and provides the ultimate in connectivity and expandability for your PC.

• Compliant IEEE 1394 and compatible with proposal 1394A.   
• Supports up to 63 devices that can be run simultaneously on a system. 
• Supports 1394 Transfer Rate for 100Mbit/sec, 400Mbit/sec. 
• Provides three sizes of programmable FIFO. 
• Provides PCI Bus Master function for supporting DMA operations. 
• Provides PCI Slave function for read/write access of internal Registers.
• Programmable 5 channel address comparator logic for receiving incoming 1394 packets and assigning them to a DMA channel.
• Provides a programmable 8/16-bit external Local Bus for implementing a dedicated data to external logic. 
• Operates from a 3.3V power supply while maintaining 5V tolerant input.
• PCI specification V.2.2 compliant. 
• Perform 32 bit CRC checking on reception of 1394 packets. 
• Support DMA transfers between 1394 and local bus RAM, ROM, AUX or ZV. 
• Implements a 32-bit PCI address-data path. Provides PCI address-data parity checking 
  Serial ROM Interface Supports 2-Wire Devices.
• 32-bit PCI Bus Master design. Provides Four General Purpose I/Os. 
• Peer-to-Peer Communication Structure. 
• Real-time Transmission of Data Small, Durable, and Flexible Cable and Cable Connectors.
• Bus is Dynamically Reconfigurable and Active. Termination is not Needed.
